How to Add Music to PowerPoint Presentation

In order to add music to a PowerPoint Presentation, follow these steps

  1. Log in into your PC.
  2. Open Microsoft PowerPoint image
  3. Open your unfinished presentation.
  4. In the Ribbon, navigate to Insert and then to Audio, as shown below.image
  5. PowerPoint will now allow you to chose an audio file. Select an .mp3 file from your Music Collection as shown below.image
  6. PowerPoint will now insert the chosen audio file. PowerPoint will notify you.image
  7. The audio has been inserted. The following player will appear in the presentation: image
  8. In order to play the music automatically, select the player shown above; then,  in Audio Tools, navigate to Playback, as shown below . image
  9. Now select Automatically from the Start option.image
  10. Now go to Animations- at the very end of that tab, go to the Start option and select With Previous. image
  11. If you have several slides and would like to play music across slides, click the Audio Player; go to Audio Tools. Select Play Across Slides  from the Start option.image
  12. You have now successfully added the music file to your PowerPoint Presentation. Enjoy!

  3. I want to be able to edit, add music and titles and also to burn a DVD. I am not technically blessed, so I do need software that is easy to use. A friend suggested I buy a ‘video digitizing package’ which will contain both hardware and software..
